How do you get the normal MLP hair straight?

I'm curious. Is the paint you use a type of acrylic paint? If not, do you know whether or not acrylics would work? It's the only paint I have on hand and I'd rather not spend too much money, since I'm not going to be doing many customs.

did you sculpt the nose for your original caramel? if you didn't, which pony did you use?

I can't find the pic on the first custom you made.I'm about to make mine,but I want to see other people's first,so if mines horrible,I may not be so sad. :3

I wanna customize a pony so bad, but the hair loop part in the 4th tutorial really confused me, maybe next time you working on a pony, can you video tape it? Video seems much easier to understand. Thanks!
